Aviary Films – Short History.
Aviary is the film production vehicle for the Ealing-based Raschid family. Father, Neville is responsible for financing and producing; son, Paul is the writer-director and mother, Sagarika is the line producer. Neville produced two films before establishing Aviary - ‘Lost Dogs’ (2005) and ‘Flirting With Flamenco’ (2006).
Aviary Films was incorporated in March 2007 and has been the production company for five films – ‘Ealing Comedy’ (2008); ‘Naachle London’ (2012); ‘Unhallowed Ground’ (2015); ‘Winterstoke House’ (TBA) and White Chamber (2019).
Aviary continues to work on international English language projects aimed at the mainstream UK and US cinema, TV and SVoD markets.
Aviary is primarily focused creatively on UK based elevated genre films and TV series hybrids combining thriller, horror, scifi and drama elements.
Aviary will continue to prioritise these projects as they have a clear route to market via the international film festivals circuit and international sales agents with whom Aviary has developed links since 2015. These films and TV series are also a major part of the programming of TV and SVoD platforms in the UK and the US.
Aviary has also developed direct relationships with the major SVoD players to progress its films and tv projects.
Aviary will consider drama or comedy material for film and TV, as well as co-production with third party producers.
